🌍 A digital public service to monitor the environment and protect health with Recosanté
The Recosanté project is part of the 4th national environmental health plan "One environment, one health" (2021-2025). The goal was to create a digital public service capable of gathering and disseminating essential information about air quality, weather conditions, UV indices, and pollen risk, while providing reliable and personalized recommendations.
🏔️ Meeting the challenges of data integration and personalization for an effective public health application
The development of Recosanté presented several major challenges:
- Integration of scattered data: Aggregating information from multiple sources (Atmo France, Météo France, RNSA, etc.) while ensuring their consistency and accessibility within a single platform.
- Personalization of recommendations: Developing a system capable of providing advice tailored to users' specific needs based on real-time environmental data.
- Accessibility and ease of use: Designing a simple and intuitive mobile application, capable of informing a wide audience while enabling informed decision-making to protect health.
To meet these challenges, the Recosanté team adopted an agile approach, with support from Selego. We developed an MVP in a few months, iterating several times to adjust features and ensure a smooth and efficient user experience.
